Steps Towards Building A World-Class Brand

TCL is all set to build a world class brand by focusing more into its Marketing activities. “The time is now for TCL to start marketing and selling its products under its own brand, around the world to completely transit from ‘Made in China’ to ‘Created in China’ and promote Chinese brands on global basis,” says Mr. James Li, Director of TCL India. He further adds, “After 10 years’ of globalization, TCL has formed an extensive global business network. We have integrated our industrial chain, strengthened innovation and increased our competitiveness in the global marketplace. The TCL brand and other brands that TCL owns will benefit from the economic recovery in Europe, North America and emerging markets which are expected to improve in 2010.”

“TCL India would be one of the key markets for the year 2010. TCL Overseas is planning to have many promotional activities with their various product launches across India,” added Mr Rambo, HOD Marketing -TCL India

Talking about its range of products Mr Rambo stated that, TCL utilizes its global design resources & market insights to bring innovative & excellent design to life. The characteristic of TCL design gives user a stylish & user friendly experience. We are planning for brand campaigns focusing on our hi-end LCD range & premium range of Slim TVs. The communications will be around style & technology delivered by TCL products, which will project the premiumness of the brand. There will be more stress on BTL activities to drive the Glossy Finish and Health Platform features which are the USP of our CTV range. TCL is the official sponsor of Asian Games 2010 which is to be held in china. Considering the Asian Games as a good platform and precious chance, TCL will be much closer to the consumers by showing their creative products, techniques and services. TCL India will work towards leveraging the Asian Games for visibility and brand awareness.
